In 2022, the owners (Sidney & Dean) of The Limited Munch were living in a rural town in Maine called Presque Isle. In this small town, Sidney realized that the local Walmart received odd items that were primarily from Canada. As Presque Isle was only 15 minutes away from the Canadian border, the local Walmart received items that neither owner had ever experienced before.

Additionally, there were also limited edition items such as Taco flavored Dorito chips or Marshmello Coca-Cola. As the owners journeyed through the incredulous flavors of both American Limited Edition snacks and drinks as well as Canadian snacks — they wanted to share this experience with others.
